More and more professional groups in healthcare are required or encouraged to collect accreditation points. For example, CSA employees may need to obtain 150 points within three years, while doctors need 40 accreditation points each year.
Until recently, there was no central system for keeping track of these points. Accreditation Platform gives every employee a personal Accreditation Dossier in which completed courses and their associated points are recorded.
What does the platform offer?
Employees can find certificates and training in one place. Trainers and training institutes can confirm completed requirements. Users can follow their progress and receive a reminder when further training is due. Managers can view the record if desired.
The platform helps users keep an auditable record of authorisation and competence and supports the Covenant for Safe Application of Medical Technology.
